| STEVEN KEEPS ON SMILING |
 Steven has been riding for 2 ½ years. He loves playing games on horse back, particularly water relays. His coach describes him as an ‘enthusiastic rider’ who always has a smile and thumbs up for volunteers and coaches. Steven is currently practicing up/downs in trot on horses called Pepsi, Ushka and Robyn. Most children love the competitive nature of games and the celebrations of doing well. It is also a great way for riders to practice important social skills such as waiting for a turn, working in small teams, encouraging others and good sportsmanship. The games played at the McIntyre Centre are similar to those played at any Pony Club. With the correct equipment and props, all children can be active participants and feel a sense of achievement.
